Toys, Toys, Toys: Help?!!

Please help! I am drowning in toys. What do you moms do with all the toys? Jake still plays with some, but has outgrown most of them. Ben will have plenty to play with if I get rid of a quarter of them. The funny thing is, most the toys were not purchased by us. They were birthday, holiday, and of gifts from grandparents. Our poor living room has turned into a toy store and looks horrible. Anyone want to come over and do some shopping?

That is nothing! I took two lawn and leaf bags and filled them to the brim with toys, and you can't even tell that anything is missing! We use our dining room as the toy room, and it is jammed full with a kitchen set, life size doll house, huge train table, 3 bookcases full of toys, and 2 sets of 3 standing plastic drawers all filled with toys! We have our fireplace hearth covered, and Grace's room has 3 castles, 4 houses, an Island Princess vanity, Dora Kitchen, a bean bag, and a toy box full of books! I alway like it when we have company, because we get everything out of the family room, and I feel like we have a new house!

I just heard about this "toy swap" website. I can't remember the name but maybe you could google it.
YOu could always have a yard sale or better yet, find one of those consignment sales this fall!

You should see my house! It can be very overwhelming!!!! When they get older, you can put most of it in their rooms and that really helps!
